Second International Women's Conference
Women and Power!
From the abduction of school girls in Nigeria to the plague of honor killings and trafficking, to more work for less pay, women still struggle to claim power and independence around the world. Join the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg as a stellar lineup of speakers explores these and other issues at its second International Women's Conference from 9-3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Temple University Harrisburg.
(Students attend free!)
The conference will feature a luncheon with the airing of the acclaimed documentary "Not My Life" on the scourge of human trafficking and a discussion with experts in the field.
