ABOUT ABOUT

Join the World Affairs Council of Harrisburg for a timely Hot Topics Tea on the looming threat of a nuclear showdown with North Korea and for a special tribute to the victims of Charlottesville.

As we cope with open manifestations of hatred and racism in the U.S., Americans also are asking if the U.S. headed for a confrontation with the rogue regime, and China help avoid a nuclear disaster?

Dr. David Lai of the U.S. Army War College leads a discussion with World Affairs Council of Harrisburg associates on the increasing danger of confrontation between the U.S. and North Korea -- and what's at stake for the world!

U.S. Army War College (USAWC). Before joining SSI, Dr. Lai was on the faculty of the U.S. Air War College. Born and raised in China, Lai witnessed China’s “Cultural Revolution,” its economic reform, and changes in China’s foreign relations, the most important of all, U.S.-China relations.

Dr. Chris Dolan, professor at Lebanon Valley College, will moderate this important forum.
